Who We Are
An Internet Based Rescue
Headquartered in South Central Kentucky
We grew out of a dream of our founder and President Barbara Shelton, who
was rescuing dogs on her own and placing them in their forever homes
alone. One friend talked to another and another and it was decided that we
would become a group. Others were invited and from that grew what you see
here today.

Members and Foster Homes: All over the country, located in states as far
away as Arizona, Michigan, Massachusetts, Georgia, and Florida.

Our President, Barbara Shelton has been doing small dog rescue for over
20 years on her own but some of her friends thought it would be a good idea
to come together and do more than the each person could do individually.
On November 6, 2005 our group was formed.  We call ourselves the "Little
Rescue that Could" as was suggested by a member who has so much faith.

Sybil Gates, our Vice President,  joined the board in July of 2006. She also
fosters for the group and is very generous of her time and works hard for the
good of our dogs.
