To Surrender a Small Dog
We can accept a small dog if for some reason you need to re-home your dog.
You may wonder why a Yorkshire Terrier might need to be
surrendered  to  rescue. Sometimes hardship will cause this to
happen or a person is transferred and can not take their pet with
them to their new home. Sometimes their may be an illness that
prevents a person from caring for their pet. It is at times like these
that we would like you to consider surrendering your pet to us so
that we may place him/her in a wonderful forever home. We don't
want any dog to go to a kill shelter or pound. It is the loving thing
to do for your pet.

We would take your pet into one of our wonderful foster homes
where he/she would be treated just like a family member by the
foster family.

Our rescue will get any veterinary checks and work done. Spay or
neuter is required before placement and we would do that if the
dog is not already altered. We have the dog heart worm tested and
placed on heart worm preventive or treated for heart worms if they
are heart worm positive.

Once we have done this then the search for the perfect forever
home for the dog will begin. I treat every one of our fosters as
though it is one of my own dogs who must for what ever reason be
given up. I check all vet references and personal references
personally. I take great care to insure that the best home for the
individual dog is found.
